A collaborative database for cardiac surgical procedures performed throughout Australia and New Zealand.
The Australian and New Zealand Collaborative Perfusion Registry - ANZCPR aims to empower cardiac surgical team members through the collection and reporting of data relevant to the practice of cardiopulmonary bypass. This is achieved through utilization of the data to understand clinical practice, provide a foundation for research, and to facilitate quality improvement. Formed in 2007, the registry has collected data in more than 20,000 procedures in 9 hospitals throughout Australia and New Zealand.

Empower all Cardiac Surgery Team Members to improve the understanding and practice of cardiopulmonary bypass to improve cardiac surgical patient outcomes.

Maintain and develop the Australian and New Zealand Collaborative Perfusion Registry for cardiac surgical procedures performed throughout Australia and New Zealand.
Promote the reporting and understanding of the effect of cardiopulmonary bypass on patient outcomes through encouraging evidence based practices, quality assurance, quality improvement and research.
